Our Story: Coffee, Community, and Opportunity

 RISE coffee & tea began with a simple but powerful belief: that everyone deserves to be known, loved, and given the opportunity to shine.

What started as a local coffee shop has grown into a place where community happens naturally... over thoughtfully crafted, locally sourced coffee, from-scratch treats (gluten free and gluten filled), and genuine connection. At RISE, names matter. Conversations matter. People matter.

Our team includes adults with disabilities who are gaining meaningful work experience, confidence, and a place to belong, alongside a supportive and passionate staff who believe in doing life together. Here, differences aren’t barriers... they’re what make our community richer.

As RISE has grown since 2020, so has our vision. From our brick-and-mortar shop to our mobile cart and trailer, we’re continuing to expand the ways we serve our community by showing up in more places, meeting more people, and creating more opportunities for connection.

Whether you stop in for a quick cup of coffee, stay awhile to connect, or simply need a place that feels welcoming, RISE exists for you. This is more than a coffee shop. It’s a space where hearts are lifted, relationships are built, and everyone has a chance to shine.
